I never read the book, and I wasn’t particularly intrigued by the plot synopsis. I was interested in seeing this movie for one reason: Spielberg has a well-earned reputation as being a groundbreaking filmmaker, and if he is going to do something special in this film, I wanted to see that maximized in iMax 3D….
